De 11de Tattoo Art en Street Art Conventie in Amsterdam

Zoemende machines, kleurrijke mensen en de beste tattoo artiesten van over de hele wereld. Tattoo liefhebbers maken zich opnieuw op voor de grootste en meest toonaangevende tattoo conventie van de Benelux: De Tattoo, Art en Street Art Conventie Amsterdam 2015. De 11e editie van dit inmiddels wereldberoemde evenement vindt plaats in hal 4 en 5 van de RAI in Amsterdam en opent haar deuren van 29 tot en met 31 mei.

Aan de Tattoo, Art en Street Art Conventie nemen vele beroemde tattoo artiesten uit binnen- en buitenland deel. Van traditionele hand-poked tattoo tot New School / cartoon stijl, van realistisch tot dot work, alle tattoo stijlen zijn op deze conventie vertegenwoordigd en iedereen is welkom op dit altijd vriendelijke evenement. Bezoekers kunnen zich natuurlijk laten tatoeëren, of simpelweg de kunst van het tatoeëren bewonderen. Men kan shoppen en slenteren langs de diverse kleurrijke stands met kleding, piercing, sieraden en nog veel meer. De Grimeshop geeft bodypaint demonstraties en voorziet bezoekers desgewenst van de mooiste lichaamsschilderingen. Creativiteit, innovatie en metaalafval komen samen in het artwork van Steampunk Art en Barbershop De Snorrensalon is aanwezig met zijn meesterbarbiers, voor retro haircuts en old school shaves. Op het podium zijn diverse shows, live muziek en tattoo wedstrijden te zien.

Ook op deze conventie: De Tattoo Preservation Service, die volgens een zorgvuldige wetenschappelijke methode getatoeëerde huid preserveert na de dood. Op deze manier verandert uw tattoo in een kunstwerk dat voor altijd blijft. Religieuze organisatie ‘De Kracht van de Veilige Naald’ is aanwezig om de acceptatie van tattoos te promoten en tatoeëert geheel gratis het symbool van het Tatooisme bij een ieder die dat wil (voor zover de tijd dat toelaat, wees er snel bij!).

De tattoo-artiesten beschilderen tijdens de conventie houten klompen. Aan het einde van de conventie is er een wedstrijd waarbij de mooist ‘getatoeëerde’/beschilderde klompen worden gekozen en zullen alle customized klompen gedoneerd worden aan het goede doel. Met uitzondering van een aantal shows is de Tattoo Conventie kindvriendelijk. De locatie is goed toegankelijk voor rolstoelgebruikers. U bent van harte welkom, tot ziens in Amsterdam! Openingstijden: Vrijdag 29 mei van 14.00 - 23.00, zaterdag 30 mei van 11.00 - 22.00 en zondag 31 mei van 11.00 - 20.00

Entree: Op vrijdag 29 mei kost een dagkaart 10,- euro. Op zaterdag 30 mei en op zondag 31 mei 2015 kost een dagkaart 18,- euro. Een weekendkaart kost 42,- euro. Kinderen t/m 11 jaar gratis toegang – één kind per volwassene en onder eigen toezicht.

Buzzing machines, colourful people and the best tattoo artists from all over the world. Tattoo enthusiasts are getting ready again for the largest and most leading tattoo convention of the Benelux: The Tattoo, Art and Street Art Convention Amsterdam 2015. The 11th edition of this now world famous event takes place in hall 4 and 5 of the RAI in Amsterdam and will be opening its doors from May 29th until May 31st.

In the Tattoo, Art and Street Art Convention, many famous tattoo artists from home and abroad will be participating. From traditional hand-poked tattoo to New School / cartoon style, from realistic to dot work, all tattoo styles are represented at this convention and everyone is welcome at this ever-friendly event.

Visitors can of course be tattooed, or simply admire the art of tattooing. One can shop and stroll along the various colourful stands with clothing, piercing, jewellery, and much more. The Grimeshop shows body paint demonstrations and also paints the most beautiful art on visitors if desired. Creativity, innovation and recycled scrap are the key ingredients forming the art of Steampunk Art, and Barbershop ‘De Snorrensalon’ with its master barbers will take care of all your retro haircuts and old school shaves. On the stage one can see various shows, live music and tattoo contests.

Also at this convention: The Tattoo Preservation Service, which uses a careful and scientific method to preserve tattooed skin after death. This way your tattoo turns into a work of art that remains forever. Religious organization ‘De Kracht van de Veilige Naald’ ('The Strength of the Safe Needle') is present to promote the acceptance of tattoos and will be tattooing, free of cost, the symbol of Tatooism on everyone that wants it (as far as time allows, don't wait too long!).

During the convention, the tattoo artists will be painting typical Dutch ‘wooden shoes’. At the end of the convention a contest takes place during which the best ‘tattooed’/painted wooden shoes are chosen. All customized wooden shoes will be donated to charity after the convention.

With the exception of a few shows the Tattoo Convention is child friendly. The location is easily accessible for wheelchair users. You are more than welcome, we hope to see you in Amsterdam!

Opening hours: Friday May 29th from 14.00 - 23.00, Saturday May 30th from 11.00 - 22.00 and Sunday May 31st 2015 from 11.00 - 20.00

Entrance fees: On Friday May 29th a day ticket is 10,- euro. On Saturday May 30th and on Sunday May 31st a day ticket is 18,- euro. A weekend ticket is available for 42,- euro. Free entrance for children up to eleven years old – one child per adult and under adult supervision.
